Your first hour
From payment to your first clip. Keep this page open while you install.
Before you start
- Windows 11 and an NVIDIA RTX card. Tested on an RTX 5090 (32 GB). 24 GB is recommended; 16 GB is the minimum and limited during early access.
- Disk: about 115 GB free for the starter set and about 310 GB for the full commercial set (models, engine and download headroom). An SSD makes a big difference.
- RAM: 32 GB or more is recommended.
- Internet for the install and the model downloads. Starter set: about 2 hours at 100 Mbit/s. Full set: about 6 hours. Afterwards everything runs offline, including the licence check.
- A recent NVIDIA driver (R570 or newer).
1. Save your licence
After payment you get your licence file (dream-art-fields.daf-licence) on the confirmation page and by email. Keep it: you need it once per PC.
2. Install
- Run
DreamArtFields-1.0.0-setup.exe. It installs into your user folder, with no admin rights for the copy itself. - The setup checks Windows, your NVIDIA driver and virtualization. If WSL2 is missing, it installs it and asks for one reboot. Run the setup again after the reboot and it carries on where it stopped.
- It sets up the studio engine inside WSL2. That takes a while, and it can be re-run safely.
- The system check runs: GPU, VRAM, driver, CUDA, WSL2, RAM and disk. A red line comes with its fix. Nothing large downloads before this passes.
- Choose the model set: starter (fast to get going) or commercial (everything, every model cleared for commercial use). The downloads resume if your connection drops; run them again to continue.
3. Add your licence
In the setup's last step, or later in Settings โ Licence: choose your licence file (or paste its text). The app says which builds your licence covers (12 months of updates from purchase).
4. Your first renders (about 10 minutes)
The first job after starting the app is slower while its models load.
- Image: type a prompt and watch the live grid. Pick one; Speed mode takes about 2 s on a 5090.
- Animate: on that image, press Animate and pick a camera move (try Dolly in or Orbit right). A 5 s clip takes about 1 minute at 480p and about 2.5 minutes at 720p on a 5090.
- Director: describe a short ad in one sentence (“15 s ad for a ceramic mug, three shots, warm morning light”). It plans the shots, makes them, critiques and retakes them, and cuts them with a music bed: about 10 minutes on a 5090.
- Everything lands in the Library, with the prompt, seed and model of each result.
If something goes wrong
- Settings โ System check shows what is not ready, and how to fix it.
- Settings โ Support bundle saves one zip with the check, the versions and the recent logs. No prompts, images or keys are in it. Send it to info@yambacode.com with a line on what happened.
- It does not run on your PC? Write to info@yambacode.com within 14 days of purchase and you get your money back: see the refund policy.
